I'm sure I've said dumber things. While I can't lay my hands on specific posts, people have said stuff here about economics that is on a par with the scientific theory about blowing the atmosphere away with radioactive decay heating.
It gets worse. I'm living in a state where the political response to a weak economy is:
Raise taxes on business
Raise taxes on citizens
Raise the minimum wage
This after Davis raised spending 35 percent just during his administration alone. Hey, there was a surplus, right?
New York State is doing even dumber stuff.
The people in charge around here don't know jack shit about how capitalism works, and they were elected to run the state. The average person doesn't either, but then they don't have free access to my wallet.
