Nobody is impressed...

If you've got a bug up your butt about the precise figure of 80 percent, as opposed to 70 percent or 92 percent, well, I'm sorry I confused you. Yes, I pulled 80 percent out of a hat, but if it isn't at least that high, I would be surprised.

If the word "most" or "almost all" would be more precise in your eyes, feel free to plug them in. I stand by the gist of the statement.

I repeat the challenge that you are unable to find me one bloody exception to my statement that the major American and international environmental groups that actually influence policy, both in America and around the world, are solidly statist, that is, they believe that almost all economic activity should be controlled by a powerful centralized authority. Hell, I'd go further and say that many of their leaders, if asked, would proudly declare themselves socialists.

You can piss about it all you like. Prove me wrong. If my numbers are indeed the load of manure you say they are, finding the "white crow" should be easy.

Anybody else who wants to weigh in on this and prove before all and sundry that I'm a dork, feel free. It has been done in the past...maybe you'll get lucky.
