The Mars Society is trying to tackle more valuable experiments as funds and opportunities become available. As mentioned before and you ignored - Translife.

Do you have any remote idea of the cost of biosphere 2 versus the habs? Would any rational mind expect a small infant organization struggling to fund habs to be able to fund a second biosphere 2?
