I grew up in a Marxist organization
All of our property was held in common. When one of us needed exclusive access to some of our property, it was considered their right and they received that access. If another needed the fruit of my labor, then I gave it to them willingly.
This system afforded us enhanced strength and adaptability. We were able (when beneficial) to easily pool all of our resources together to achieve a result that alone, none of us could achieve.
I'm speaking of the family I grew up in, of course.
