Saddam v. Hitler, a discomparison

1. Hitler built the most advanced military in the world.
Saddam pre-Gulf War 1 was a big fish in a little pond. Now a medium fish with much fewer teeth..

2. Hitler sought, and had means, to conquer Europe in a Napoleonic-empire type of way.
Sadaam invaded Kuwait. Has no military capable of invading even Northern or Southern Iraq.

3. Hitler put 6 million humans to death systematically in the space of 7 years.
Sadaam probably killed about 2 million over 20 years.

4. Hitler knew he could take France, his biggest enemy, in a few short months. He did.
Sadaam knew he could take Iran, his biggest enemy, in a few short weeks. He sued for peace after 8 years.

5. Hitler faced little opposition until he came up against the need to invade Britain and opened the Eatern Front.
Sadaam is contained by the most powerful military the world has ever seen.

Yes, he is a totalitarian leader. Yes, he's a bad guy.
To suggest that these two people are of equivalent threat is to be completely oblivious to any historical context whatso-effin-ever.

BTW, nice sidestep. Forget to answer my questions?
Cheers,
Tony
