Hey, Joe - welcome from another BCer.

Just a note on the election, though probably this has scrolled down too far for you to notice...

The "Liberals" got 57.62% 0f the popular vote according to Elections BC. While that doesn't seem like a huge landslide, remember it wasn't a two-party election. The next closest party got only 21.56 % or just over 1/3 as many votes as the Libs.... ie almost three times as many people who voted wanted the Liberals in as compared to the NDP. Sounds like a fair mandate to me.
