I'm sorry, I don't think that it comes down to 'we' as in Americans alone. Everyone can do their part for themselves and the world we live in. The Taliban and AlQueda (bombing US), holding Afghanistan hostage, Saddam holding the people of his country hostage... the list goes on. It's also interesting to see how America's humility has been received and welcomed (media and agenda driven reporting aside).
