BTW, Tom:
WRT your quick little google of Heidegger on the web and then coming at me about who/what he is and what he had to say. I am reminded of the Creationist Preacher I saw come to a debate with a professional biologist. The preacher had a 'Cliff Notes' to darwin, and wold quote it in flashy style from time to time.
It was cute and theatrical tripe attempting to play to an audience as well.
Heidegger became a nut in later life, like Wittgenstein, Goedel and many really great thinkers. I also think Heidegger was wrong in 90% of what he said. And Philosophy has largely left him behind, and the Deconstructionsists now adore him (although they are conflicted by his non-pc affiliation with 1930s Germany, just like you).
However- that also puts him in good company. And it also doesn't get around the 10% where he was right.
