It is a lie that terrorists are poor people suffering under injustice. The leaders are largely wealthy psychotics, who have decided that the only solutions for the entire planet are conversion to their radical form of Islam, or destruction. They do not carry bombs, they do not take up arms. They get others to do these things.

If I sat you down with Osama bin Laden, how would you begin negotiations? What would you offer him? What middle ground would you reach? For God's sake, think. You can't make a deal with someone whose only goal is your obliteration.

I have been reading translations of what radical Arabs say when their audience is other Arabs.
I recommend this site.

It is worth recalling that we did not have troops in Iraq and Afghanistan when the twin towers fell.
