Reading your message, it almost looks as if we could substitute "GWB & Co." for "leaders" and "their form of economic dominance" for "radical form of Islam".

And "GWB & Co." for "OBL".

And you don't understand the motivation of those folks. You, for instance, are upset that 3000 innocent, harmless, working, playing Americans died at WTC. So am I - I'm really mad about that, it was not right, at all and the perps should be shot in the feet and then the sights gradually raised.

And, I'm upset that thousands and thousands more innocent, competely innocent, didn't do nuthin' except live in the sand about oil, people have been killed by GWB & Co.

Now, how can you wonder about the motivation, when WTC is used as an excuse, and 4 and 5 TIMES as many innocent people are killed when WTC is used to loot a Third World country?

And the ROW knows exactly that. The new Spanish Premier said it well - "you can't use lies as a basis for war". Well, GWB can, and did.

Understanding motivation doesn't mean agreeing with it, or saying it was proper. It does mean that in some frames of reference, as valid as yours and mine, it makes sense to strike at people who are killing my friends and neighbors. Hey, that is yours and mine. SOB.
