Project Argos...

Hi EP

We really need dedicated, cheap, light robot-telescopes all over the Moon - hence my name for the program - to detect the comets. And something like Arthur Clarke's gigaton nuke RADAR from Rama II would be even better, but worse politically. The RoboScopes (TM) would be a good large-scale payload for privatised Moon-missions to attempt, selling to the Gov't for a decent price.

X-Prize III, maybe?
