The actions of the United States are worthy of criticism, and even more so because we place ourselves on the high pedestal of the champion of human rights. Except it appears that some humans are more equal than others.

The maintenance of secret detention facilities and detention of people indefinitely without so much of a hearing (like the Bastille) is inconsistant with respect for the humanitarian rights of others.
