Obviously, the standard routine of military trials, already under way, won't do the job for you. Trials in U.S. courts for Afghanis, Iraqis, and Syrians? With free attorneys, thousands of TV cameras, and book deals?

Shut down Guantanamo and let them all go? That's what Thomas Freidman wants. From the "make it all go away!" school of liberalism.

By the way, would it be pointless to keep repeating that Guantanamo HAS been inspected?
