But you are sitting here claiming that the press is conspiring to keep it quiet because it will no-doubt clear 'your guy'.
My exact quote was:
The report, which apparently runs over 400 pages, has not been released to the general public, and those in the press who have seen it sure aren't going to spread it around.
I'll grant that wasn't as clear as it should have been. I believe the reasons for this are much less about partisan politics than they are about the media's highly-exaggerated sense of self-importance. It is not common for media stories on particular documents to link directly to the original documents, even when the documents are online and able to be found with minimal effort. This linkage is something bloggers do on a regular basis, as do I. I spent quite some time trying to track down a copy of the original report.
My take on it is that the media writers believe, whatever their politics, that their analysis is enough for anyone, and don't want original material cramping their style. This is borne out by a number of occassions when I have located original material on my own, and the cherry-picking of the media writers became quite obvious.
You are welcome to come up with a more laudable reason why online articles discussing a document supposedly in the hands of the authors do not show a copy of it.
