Okay, well then I regret attributing to you a meaning you did not intend. So you have my apology there.
As to why no release of the document:
Because not releasing the whole document might have been all or part of the conditions under which the media person was shown the piece? If the Document is not public yet, it would stike me as a reasonable assertion- why the condition is there depends on the agenda of the leaker or the technicalities of the law under which the leaker wants to avoid getting hammered.
Your willingness to assume petty motives behind everything the 'media' does, yet an unwillingness to ascribe anything like that to the bloggers you 'tailgate' intellectually is, in my mind, a little odd.
