I really don't like it when you misquote me. I don't think I ever said that they moved 'thousands of people' in moving trucks. Just that they did move people there in moving trucks, in droves.
I don't have the sources on it anymore (the link I have on it is expired), but I know the moving vans were used to evacuate hotels in the region to the convention center.
Are you going to now argue that not enough people were trucked to the convention center by local authorites? So the local authorities were trucking people in- but your going to argue that FEMA should be excused form knowing about it because not enough people were trucked in?
Look- this has gone beyond stupid. Why don't you tell me, in plain english- Why is it that FEMA shouldn't have known about the convention center for 4 days. What is the g-d level of 'obvious' that you feel must be hit before we can hold FEMA accountable for not finding out what had been reported in the media, had been known to the THOUSANDS of evacuees who went there seeking help, had been known to the loccal officials who were trucking people there.
Please, I am sitting here laughing out loud- whats the punch line. What is it supposed to take?
