You basically concede the point in the first paragraph

"nd people who were taken there to wait for transport out that never showed up."

Okay, so you grant that the authorities were taking people there. So the premise that the authorites were using it is not something you challenge?

"The convention center is located on the banks of the river on either side of the main highway that crosses the river heading east."

Wow, no shit?

Brilliant.

" It was a bottleneck with a large set of buildings nearby, and there were people there already waiting for buses."

Yes, people were stuck there. Thats sort of why they needed rescue. I'm not sure what point you are making or how it answers what I have asked you for 25 darn posts:
What, in specific, excuses FEMA from not knowing that large numbers of people were there despite the fact that thousands of people knew to seek refuge there, local authorities were trucking people in ... ETCETERA

"I notice you don't seem to give a rat's ass about the state of knowledge of local FEMA authorities, how they were dealing with Red Cross supplies, or anything other than your obsession with the Bush administration."

This is infuriating yet again. You know I have pointed out the sins of local and state authorities- you know this. You have responded and I therefore assume read the posts in which I state this. I'm not making this JUST about the Bush administration, you are- by the very fact that you are running around rubbing sand in your ears refusing to allow even basic criticism to be laid at the feet of FEMA and the DHS.

Again, this is rediculous- please answer the basic question from above. This is like trying to nail jello to a tree.
