Untill then, I don't buy it.

This is a bubble, just like the tech bubble. Its a perfect storm of supply and demand.

Eventually it will reach its breaking point, prices will plummet, and stablize at a much lower level.

Alternatives, and other willing capitalists will cash-in on the action. Nobody, not even OPEC can control the price of oil.
