I think the estate tax should be set at a fairly high number and then forever indexed to inflation.

Lets say $5-10,000,000.00

Nobody really needs to leave their children any more than that. And if you have that much $$$ then you can afford to send you kids to all the best schools so that they can figure out ways to earn a substantially larger part of you fortune from you and others while you are still alive.

Buffet is a brilliant man. So is Gates.
