The fact that Buffet knows his kids are as greedy as he has been is evidenced by his lack of trust in their judgement to dispense all his assets as they see fit. The poor masses and their outreaching empty hands are legion. Fill those hands and they will praise you. Leave them empty and they will curse you. That's not a good reason to give and to be honest it does nothing for the recipients longterm well-being either.
Folks like you are the reason press releases accompany such giving. Buying good will increases marketshare and keeps the masses placated. Many greedy folks have learned just a bit since the French revolution.
Buffet and Gates aren't capitalists. They left that category long ago. As a matter of fact, they give competitive and hard working capitalists a bad name.
