You missed an important point

While I am a champion of free market economics I recognize the need for rules. A free market doesn't exist without them. Established commercial law is what keeps the free market strong: Anti-trust laws; Anti-scam laws; Anti-corruption laws; Anti-labor exploitation laws; and of course, fundamentally, a monetary suprastructure. These and other laws are what helps create a middle class and thus creates the huge consumer spending engine which keeps the global economy viable. These laws and suprastructures makes capitalism itself viable.

On a similar level we must regulate "negative externalities" such as pollution because it is a proven fact the free market will not do it itself, just as it won't build it's own infrastructure.

Instead of bitching all the time about the extremists, why don't you join the chorus of reasonable environmentalist who want to save our fragile atmosphere with ways that may upset, but won't destroy our lifestyle. People like Al Gore!

Have you seen the movie yet, or do you still want to spout second hand misinformation like gbaike?
