It has not been too bad in Houston this summer.

I have been through some summers here (1980 was one) where temps were over a hundred for 2 or 3 months and no rain. We have not reached a 100 yet and our temps have been running around normal. Been getting some rain too. Tropics are also quiet.

The last two summers here have been normal. Before that we had a few years of higher than normal.

Summer + Houston has always = Hot.
