Seems dependent on JET STREAM

Here in NE, once the ol J/S drops outa Canada, it's gets COOL. Now, last nite, really bad Thunder Storms and HIGH WINDS, wow, nearly blew the Oak Tree down in back yard.....
Has anybody tracked the Jet Streams and their difference this year as opposed to last?
