Global warming doesn't come in "salvos"
It creeps in its petty pace, from day to day...
Dunno where you live, carl -- but here in N. Texas, we're into our second straight week of daytime highs >100 F (105 today, 106 tomorrow), and it hasn't rained but once since May. I was warned about summers here when I arrived in January, but even the long-time residents say this one's worse than usual.
I happened to see an article this morning about record summer highs in England, too -- as much as 20 degrees F above seasonal norms.
Raoul (if you check in...), what's it like in continental Europa this summer?
