EEgad Techie. That's a lot to answer to.

I agree with some of your perceptions, and disagree with others.
Watch a young mother bear or wildcat with her cubs and you'll see them swiping at their young when they are pushing her limits or proceeding into danger; so we can throw THAT one out.

However, dinner is on and I just cracked some chardonnay, so serious rebuttal will have to wait until later.
