"Per capita health care costs, in constant dollars, have doubled since 1975, and the curve isn't flattening out"
Yeah? That statement applies more than equally well to the present system. All else being equal, better to have more people covered with the cost increasing than fewer people with the costs going up anyway. They call it "bang for the buck".
