So let's say you lived in pre-war Nazi Germany and you had strong feelings about ole Adolph. Had you come out and made public your thoughts and called him a deranged madman, would you have been an Adolph Basher? Somehow that would seem a heroic thing to me.
There's a fine line between bashing someone and simply pointing out the truth about their obvious shortcomings. When I had misgivings about Ronald Reagan's politics and policies I debated those directly because he gave me no ammunition to point out his lack of speaking skills or educational lapses. He didn't fly off into the ozone when being interviewed. I don't remember him talking about getting foreign policy direction directly from God.
You need to face it. Bush bashing has sound basis behind it. The man presents himself as an fundamentalist, reactionary idiot pure and simple. You better get used to it and be prepared to fall under the bashing category yourself if you continue to follow the man to the detriment of our country.
