re: C'mon let's rumble.

And while I consider myself to be a Republican/Conservative, my Human Rights and Environmental views would be deemed Liberal by some.

Speaking of which, I am still very puzzled as to why Liberals, who were so adamant about human rights in South Africa in the 80’s (Who I stood firmly with then) have backed off on the global spreading of human rights. Is it just political? Had it been Clinton who ousted that murderous, human rights violator, Saddam, would the Liberals be behind the liberation of Iraqis?

Here we have Bowser saying people are better off living as slaves under a Dictator because things are orderly, verses fighting and possibly dying to be free. Hitler had law and order in his country too. He could have made europe united with law and order. Yet, what sane person would want him in charge of Europe?

There is a difference between living as a slave in orderly country, and living free in a country where its people can make their own decisions.

I thought Liberals once valued freedom and human rights over an orderly but oppressive government. How can they complain about Conservatives taking away their freedoms (To preserve order and make them safer) in America, yet support a ruthless dictator who had a law and order in his country because he ruled by fear? Contradiction? What has happed to the Liberal support of Human Rights? They should be happy to see Saddam gone and Iraqis fighting for their freedom.

New Hampshire's "Live Free or Die" motto says it all.
