Funny you should say that.

"put it towards teaching me how to become more like males"

I know a women who dated a Pima Indian shaman. For all his enlightenment, he cheated on her. It made her very bitter and angry. She would say things like, "I got to get me some of that ‘man stuff’ " and where can I get me some of that "man"". Although she said it jokingly, she was serious.

She became harder, a little more distant, and at the same time, more vocal about men. For me, it was a little difficult to hear the constant man-bashing. But it wasn’t only me, my wife too was tiring of it. Over time, she mellowed.

This woman is a long time friend of my wife and I’ve know her 24 years. I’ve like her so much that, at times, I wished she was my sister. I was amazed that shortly after I got her together with my brother, she became my sister-in-law. She’s now much more confident- to the point of being slightly domineering. With most issues my brother rolls on his back like a puppy. She must have found some of that “man stuff”.

There were two points in your thread I picked up on:
What is infidelity and the sin of roving eye.

The infidelity part apparently was not physical but, your reaction to it here is like it was?

You’re dealing with stereotypes. If you want to picture all men the way “you” have, you may be denying yourself what you really want. But for both Sexes, it never hurts to keep your guard up for a time when getting to know someone.

I hope your anger subsides Jody.
