As an aside, the weekend after the affair, he took his wife on a romantic getaway to a cabin in TN. And I know their money is tight.
Then a couple of weeks ago he bought her a brand new BMW flaming red cross-over.
She tells me he's doing all these nice, unexpected things for her, and I just smile and shake my head.

Is that the guilt working, or did her husband have a wake-up call?
