You have to do a lot of filtering, but Lee does have a point in there somewhere. The Irish aren't nearly the problem across an entire section of our country as those coming over our border from the South. There isn't a thriving Irish drug trade. There aren't millions of illegal Irish lousing up our balance of labor and social systems. Ireland isn't pulling in billions of dollars from Irish immigrants in the U.S. I don't see signs in Irish parades labeling a large chunk of our nation as part of Ireland. We don't have to label everything in the country in Gaelic.
I could go on for a while on this, but you get the idea. Let's not be comparing apples and shamrocks.
