I know I shouldn't be reading articles that describe life in Iraq by people who live in Iraq.
It upsets me.
I want to hear re-gurgitated, sickening-sweet bill-swallow by the likes of the conservatives over here (you know who you are) who think our going into this country and upsetting it's lifestyle was good for all Americans who feared Sadams' WMD ("we'll show those desert savages who's superior").
I cringed everytime I heard CNN tout "WAR WITH IRAQ" months before it ever happened.
I disconnected my TV.
I was against this "pre-emptive war". What RIGHT do we have to murder nearly 40,000 innocent civilians, to "save" them from a brutal leader?
Well......at least they HAD a life......and some peace:
>"The Truth: Iraqis lived in houses with running water and electricity. Thousands of them own computers. Millions own VCRs and VCDs. Iraq has sophisticated bridges, recreational centers, clubs, restaurants, shops, universities, schools, etc. Iraqis love fast cars (especially German cars) and the Tigris is full of little motor boats that are used for everything from fishing to water-skiing."
Somehow, somewhere, I think we'll end up paying for this. It's the law of Nature.
