I think what Davin meant was Noam is "interesting" perhaps even creative. Or maybe Davin can see him for what he is- a fairly talented writer. And of course, as a writer, he has poetic license- telling the truth is not any where near as important as telling good story. Attempting to tell the truth would be "so, Jouralistic"- hardly a worthy goal for a great writer.
