You lack intellectual integrity, and appear to be manic-depressive. Here's some evidence. You recently posted this:
>>>_I_ am _not_ paid by tax dollars! Do you understand?! One of the projects I work on is partially funded by the NSF<<<
Couldn't you use some intellectual integrity to help with your self-contradictory statements? Oh and I suppose you see no contradiction there. Socialism may be a lot of things but inherently rational (as opposed to emotional) it is NOT.
>>>The money will go to a company that wins a COMPETITIVE PROCESS- The best product for the best price wins!<<<
The NSF's peer review process may be better than NASA's, but that's not saying much. NSF peer review panels are often stacked. Competitive prizes are often the purest form of competition.
>>>Isn't that what you keep spamming us about, you incoherent moron?!<<<
I guess that your unjustified insults make you feel less insult-worthy? If so then you're even more self-deluding than it otherwise seems. Competitive prizes would weed out your kind from the tax-leeching stream. No wonder you despise me. You get the Darwin award even as you keep feeding your face at taxpayers' expense, without adding significant value. If you do add value, let's see PROOF.
>>>What do you want?! To end government funded science? <<<
That question is so removed from the crux of any of my messages and published articles [web-based and otherwise] (regarding publicly funded competitive prizes; letting the NSF compete more with NASA; etc.) that you seem to have emotional problems that expand well beyond my own disapproval of the unpatriotically wasteful, entrepreneurship-stifling tax leeches.
You have asserted in this thread that your supposed contributions dwarf others', especially my own (even in the space realm). You don't have a clue, but you could also care less.

Why can't you quit while you're behind and quit bugging me. I've got value to add to society. So do others who might still be wasting their time reading your childish, substanceless postings. You, on the other hand, have some serious issues to attempt to work out. If you don't like my postings: fine, don't read them (to quote your own idol Keith Cowling). Or convince voters that postings like mine (and certainly not limited to me) are incorrect as they increasingly come up for political significant consideration.
Now then, Mr. Self-Important, let's see PROOF that you actually contribute meaningfully to the space industry. Details please... Or is that "classified"? Ha ha ha!

Why be so self-important, truth-denying, competitive prizes-HATING and downright misleading?

- Even as your profanity, misspelling and (n/t) are fine?
- Ok then.
- You fail to see what the health care vs. space expenditures debate has to do with space? WOW.
- Ok then.

- R.L. is on the right track
- Gary, by any chance do you receive tax dollars for a living?
- This has nothing to do with our jobs
- Ditto (n/t)
- So you receive tax dollars, but your resentfulness of me has NOTHING to do with my pro-entrepreneurial stance...

- The use of a 100% NONcommercial handle minimizes the potential for (often misinformed) ad hominem attacks.

- Ban him -- He's spam and nothing more (n/t)
- No

- Why censor reform proposals and their justifications? Sure, pro-entrepreneurial reforms could displace some, but they could empower many far more.
