Couldn't you use some intellectual integrity to help with your self-contradictory statements? Oh and I suppose you see no contradiction there. Socialism may be a lot of things but inherently rational (as opposed to emotional) it is NOT.

There is nothing at all contradictory in my statement, the government funding doesn't pay me, or the organization I work for, it is to pay the company that can make the best product for us and others.... It is an incentive to get a new useful technology into production...

You clearly have no understanding of the process you rant about... The people making the selection will be the people that will be using it- the people that understand the technical issues the best- we will choose the product that we feel will be the best for our needs, at the best cost....

Again, I get no money from the government- As for 'PROOF' I think working to expand the amount of sky viewable by large telescopes by over two orders of magnitude is 'adding value', dont you?

No Rich, what I asserted is that you have not demonstrated that you even understand the issues, much less ever made a positive contribution... as for your link, I looked at it- was it supposed to impress anyone? You Asked Bush a question at a public appearance, and there is 1 pic of you standing beside a former astronaut, and then 2 pics of you wrestling (relavence?) and one pic of you standing on the steps of the stock exchange....
