Why censor reform proposals and their justifications? Sure, pro-entrepreneurial reforms could displace some, but they could empower many far more.

Although I'm sorry that making our space programs more pro-entrepreneurial could temporarily displace certain tax leeches who consequently prefer to attack the messenger rather than address the message and its supposed shortcomings, I'm NOT sorry enough to be willing to abandon the [in my case 100% volunteer and altruistic] mission of trying to [basically ANONYMOUSLY] help shape our space program into a self-sustaining, increasingly popular and wealth-generating, jobs-creating endeavor. Here's one of my more recent posts here. Who can say, with a credibly straight face (and hopefully enough persuasive reasoning to back it), that these kinds of messages warrant censorship?

Is Bush "promising us the Moon" (for sometime AFTER he retires, mind you) in exchange for our supporting the Shuttle now, while Jeb's still governor and thereby able to benefit from its squanderou$ launches in Flori-duh? You praise Bush's proposals as representing a jobs program for the industry. You may be right but the more pro-entrepreneurial his proposals wind up being...the more jobs there will likely be, wouldn't you agree? Why should NASA bureaucrats get to be king-makers? Isn't that the kind of socialist scheme that brought us marvels like the X33? With our country's record high $6.9 trillion dollar national debt, rapidly aging population and record high foreign trade deficit (not to mention an increasingly hefty domestic one), we don't seem to have that much of a margin of error any longer. Why not demand that Bush do it right, by recognizing private property rights in space, pushing for tax incentives, and making NASA follow DARPA's lead by offering competitive prizes instead of king-anointing contracts? Otherwise, wouldn't flags and footprints missions actually hurt our cause by making folks in the U.S. space industry seem like money-wasters, even as the likes of Burt Rutan and Bezos get overshadowed in the resulting redundancy for which statist governmental agencies are famous?
