Morality

This discussion of gay marriage and gay adoption comes down to morals. Morality molds our laws, is expressed by our justice system and is incorporated into the Constitution.

My morality, unlike many others, was not taught to me by any church or existing religion and is perhaps far more stringent than yours or others.

Science based morality is a new concept for most, but is one which I live by. My world is not one of good or evil, but of constructive and destructive actions. It pulls away the mysticism or the word of gods and cuts straight to the chase.

Homosexuality in the animal kingdom is a deviant outcome. Animals that can't identify or reproduce with their polar opposite are doomed to die off. They effectively lack certain abilities which most of their species have.

No god need tell one that a world where this is the norm or perfectly acceptable outcome is also deviant in its view, and in fact survival of the species requires that this not become normal.

Tolerance really isn't an issue. Gay adoption is a perverting of the reproductive process of the species - it is the exact sort of thing you would try to avoid because of the environmental influences. So I find putting defenseless children in with gay couples morally offensive. It harms the children.

You do not. You think that everyone is screwed up in some manner and that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality at all.

This is your choice. But I will tell you straight away that your view is in error scientifically - and thus it is immoral because it leads to destructive outcomes rather than constructive.

The outspokenness of many gays to demand the right to children is amusing at best and really quite sad. They see nothing wrong with their behavior and haven't yet the development to pull the veil off their predicament and its origin. Some would like to say there exists a gay-gene and that they are "victims" and that society owes them somebody else's children.

My morality must take a stand against this view and yours.

My view is not a short term view - it is a far longer view. It takes into account the outcomes of any action and its entire cycle of regeneration. The society, humanity and the future development of all concerned are taken into account. If homosexuality would lead to extinction for all then it is to be avoided and is a destructive act. Homosexuality and gays are therefore engaging in destructive acts to society.

Gay marriage is equivalent to interspecies relations. It will lead to extinction of the species.

Deviancy has historically therefore been made a "sin". Sex with the same gender, sex with animals all falls under the same "moral" flaw - failure to reproduce.

Legalizing and endorsing gay marriage is akin to legalizing termination of humanity.

Homosexuality will ALWAYS be wrong - it will NEVER be right.

Don't "f" with energy. You'll always lose this argument.

Some folks have a bigger picture than others. Some are too closely involved in the situation and feel pity for gays or feel obligated to tolerate deviancy as an act of social awareness and development.

Some societies stone gays and kill them - still to this day. This barbaric treatment is not conducive to a healthy society either it is a destructive action and far worse than the deviancy it is trying to eliminate.

Gay relations are to be tolerated in a society only and can never be endorsed, no more than one can support bestiality or any of the previously mentioned deviant reproductive outcomes.

That you have not come to this viewpoint tells me you are either too closely involved to see rationally or your development at this point bars you from seeing the big picture. Either one is fine but when you talk with me - you will be called on it.

Your emotion and offense are understandable, not justified, but understandable. When one does not understand how ones views are destructive - one can't see in perspective. Hopefully I've made it clear enough but I will paint it out even clearer:

In the long haul, homosexuals and lesbians suffer. They CAN'T reproduce. They can't have a child of their own that has the attributes of both partners. It will ALWAYS be unequal, even if they are lesbians and one gets artificially inseminated. Artificial insemination always requires a male. And in these instances the fathers traits are shared to a grouping that is not harmonically aligned for them.

This will create difficulties for such a "family". One of the reason adoptive couples have such difficulty is because the child doesn't have attributes (harmonic affiliation) with the adoptive parents.

Nature operates with scientific principles. Balance is one of them. A homosexual/lesbian relationship is imbalanced. It always will be.

So addressing the issue becomes one of tolerance not of support. A gay marriage is not a goal of society and can't be endorsed. Laws are based entirely on morals. The law thererfore must support what is good for society. Gay marriage and gay adoption are not beneficial to society and therefore are not supported by law.

I know you MA and Bowser may think you are enlightened and the example of the new breed of human. Tolerance is noble but in some instances just because one tolerates something does not mean the next logical step is endorsement. I apologize for offending your sensibilities, however, to be quite honest, your views don't appeal to me either.
