I agree
I agree with everything in your post.
I even agree that reasonable rebuttal is superior to hollering on people. You may recall a time when I followed that maxim.
This issue means something different to me because people have been beaten up and even killed because of the errors passed off as truth.
This conversation has meant something different to me because I know he's been provoking an argument in part to get some attention. He may believe all this, for all I know: it's so hard to tell. It's become personal.
The only way I can think of to put an end to it is to put an end to the conversation. That's where I am.
