The "proposal to the President" turned on the little floodlight in the rubber room. He frequently talks to the President in his fiction. Apparently, we are mixing our fiction with reality these days.

Nevertheless, you have every right to be peeved. His mangling of logical argument is as atrocious as it is assinine.
