Thanks for the response Raoul. It's clear you gave the issue some thought and I appreciate it.
It's an interesting take on it, but I am still not buying it. ;-)
Humanity may still look the same and evolve very slowly, but this does not mean human evolution has stopped. Humanity will always require biology and as the world shrinks humanity is already changing into a blend of various races and genetic characteristics.
Is Europe the same biologically as it was 100 years ago? What will it be like in 1000 years?
Cultural evolution occurs simultaneously as biological evolution. Unless people become hermaphrodites, I don't see society ever fully unconditionally supporting homosexuality. There will be tolerance and individual freedom but it should (and likely will) fall short of endorsement.
Yes, there will be exceptions and nations that see differently but when one sees how strong various religions are throughout the world I don't believe homosexuality will ever become a non-issue.
Cultural evolution will lead to greater understanding both scientifically and emotionally of the issues that surround homosexuality. This will lead to more costructive and progressive handling of this issue which will always be with humanity to one degree or another.
Hope your jaw is fully healed. The jaw has a heck of a lot of nerves and when traumatized can really hurt.
