When I was growing up, we called them faggots. We called everyone we didn’t like faggots even though they weren’t gay. As children, someone taught us to hate faggots. It took a 200 level psychology course on human sexuality (most popular sophomore class) to start to undo that teaching.

I believe being gay is something you’re born with - not something you choose. But guess what, I really don’t care if it is a choice. There just people.

A few comments if I may.

The harm to the children is more likely the result of “Society’s” reaction to gay parenthood.

Prohibiting gay marriage does not prevent people from being gay. Homosexuality has been around for a long time. Probably since before the institution of marriage. Us ‘Homo’ Sapiens have been around for over 100,000 years. We probably didn’t need marriage or morals for the species to thrive. Somehow we still managed to multiply even with ‘puffters’ in our midst. So you are wrong unless you feel that homosexuality has somehow been introduce in the last few thousand years. Not sure what it is but I think gayness probably has a perfectly good evolutionary purpose. If all this is true, then homosexuality is not immoral by your definition because it is not destructive to the species.

This is simply a perception. Weather it’s right or wrong is a judgment. Hetero- oral sex (gasp) used to be considered a deviation in my state and only became legal about 20 years ago. Tell me-
WHAT HAS CHANGED?
