you may be right about the film not being a blood libel (antisemitic) - I still have my doubts though, given Gibson snr. And I wonder how the film will play to audiences in traditionally antisemitic countries like Poland or Russia. ..Anyway, that was not the issue upsetting me. I am simply so tired of violence in movies, that I would *not* see Schindlers List, or Private Ryan, for the same reason. (In fact, that's why I haven't (yet) seen any of the Lord of the Rings films! Yes, I'm washed out..)
