Not me, don't plan to see it either. I hear it's gory and violent and that Jesus gets punched a lot through the film, before the blood starts to roll. I'm too sensitive for these things and I can't imagine why I'd subject myself to something like this in the hope of better understanding religion or the life of Christ. They didn't "get it" back then, and I'm not so sure anyone "gets it" right now.
We are still the same barbaric society. If He came back to earth right now again, he wouldn't be worshipped and used as an example.
DARPA would have him locked him for experiments.
