Another item: E.P. has been exceptionally civil even if his ideas still seem a little "out there". I remember a time when this wasn't true. If he's willing to do the research, that is, to follow the rules, it's within the scope of this board to poke holes in his hypothesis and to examine any evidence with a critical eye. Isn't that what this board is for?

All well and good - on a superficial level. But I'm sure you know very well that this is all about quite a different agenda. I'd rather confront that head-on instead of mincing about, 'examining the evidence' and 'being civil'.

Content, Mary Anne, and above all: INTENT. That's what counts in this thread. Not style, or manners.
