In Victoria, evolution is taught as the scientific explanation for life on Earth in government schools. But, the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority says, "schools may decide to include a comparative investigation of alternative approaches to the origins of life on Earth, for example, to assist their students' development of skills in critical analysis and evaluation".
.. sort of a workable cease-fire agreement maybe.
