Just another talent...

...but keep it under your hat. That and punctuality helps get me to the train station on time.

The Joe McCarthy era has come and gone. But the left puts more mileage on Joe since he succumbed to cirrhosis than he ever covered while he was alive. Digging up Joe and sticking him in the corner of the room is certain to scare off name-callers. He's not much more than a bag of bones now, but there's still a little hair on the skull that even gives me the willies.

Having ol' Joe in your corner is supposed to grant Carte Blanche when it comes to "dissent". Poor Joe. His alcoholism impaired his judgment and so what started initially as a noble effort to expose and weed out communists in government soon degenerated into a persecution complex and finally complete paranoia.

Let's take a look at this site.

I am routing (sic) for the “insurgents.” Go team!
Global condemnation was not enough to stop the administration. Neither was Iraq’s “sovereignty” or “elections.” The Anti-War Movement is effectively invisible. From where will change come? I am going with body bags.

Go team! Go insurgents!

A life is a life. An Iraqi life equals an American life. I am a pacifist, but I try to be considerate to reality. So if there was justifiable reason for killing Iraqis, say they attacked the United States via the famously absent WMD or they had an actual al Qaeda collaboration, then it might be different. But there is not. There is also no justification for any American to lose their life in Iraq right now, except to protect his or her fellow soldier that is honorably obeying orders.

Go team! Go insurgents! You can do it!

Treason?
Sure.
Freedom of Speech?
If we all close our eyes and pretend he's just joking. Though it's obvious to everyone he's not

Then I get a kick out of him claiming pacifism! The question is...how many here agree with his sentiments either fully, partially or in spirit?

For every one individual who has a belief there are usually 20000 that think exactly the same thing.

Incidentally the above link and quote is "preaching treason". Too many here seem to think there is no such animal as a liberal preaching treason - they're all just patriots who love their country.

Yep, they love it enough to hope for a high US body count. And isn't that the very soul of patriotism?

PS
Incidentally that link came up after a quick five second google search for "go insurgents" - and the author had the gumption to share those words online. I can only imagine the sentiments held close to the chests of other folks in the US rooting for insurgents.
