Doesn't libel require a lack of evidence for the charge considered libelous? Can you name one case of a libel conviction where there was evidence the charge was correct? There's a rather famous case made into a movie where the charge was pretty accurate and the conviction was over turned by the supreme court on the basis of free speech. Hint the winner was no paragon of virtue.
