If you've got a better way to wage war against Hezbollah, I'd love to hear it.
Unless its your thesis that Israel should simply assume that a certain level of murder is acceptable--that a hundred people or so a year dying at the hands of terrorists is better than trying to remove the terrorists themselves. The "line up at the disintegration chamber" school of warfare. Of course, you have to pray that your enemies don't get a better class of weapon...
Incidentally, I've had it up to my eyeballs with everybody talking as though killing civilians was deliberate Israeli policy instead of accidental, when in fact the deliberate killing of Israeli citizens is Hezbollah policy, as well as the deliberate endangering of Lebanese civilians by using them as human shields. Did you see the film of rocket trucks being parked in homes and civilian structures?
For God's sake, what does an enemy of Israel have to do before you take the right side?
And in a related question, at what point does a nation become so civilized it can no longer defend itself at all?
