Understand Europe - not detest it.
My Euro relatives alone keep me from detesting Europe, but they offer me unique insight into the indoctrination, attitudes, etcetera that prevail.
As for US government contracts - there exists high degrees of cronyism and unfairness. This isn't a good thing and I am against anything that reeks of monopolization or the designed elimination of fair competition, but the question is do these corrupt acts extend to the point where folks lives are jeopardized?
That's when it enters a whole new level of selfishness.
