Kind of like those pictures that are a vase one minute, and two faces the next, reading it as the archaic form of "marches" made perfect sense. I never would have seen it like that if you hadn't gone that direction.
Everybody's got the right to be "mightily pissed." But after years of watching the reaction of the big-time peaceniks (around the world, not just in America) to conflicts around the world, with their anger exclusively directed at the West, just once in my life I'd like to see them get mightily pissed at one or two of the actual bastards of the world. Have you EVER seen an effigy or angry sign about bin Laden in any protest photo?
Before the war in Iraq, not one of the protesters held a sign calling for Saddam to capitulate, or step down. Seen any of the anti-nuke crowd picketing Iran lately?
Their demonstrations aren't about peace and freedom, they're about anti-Americanism or anti-Westernism. Constantly crapping on the one nation on this planet most responsible for keeping it from becoming a world of slave states.
It isn't about Republicans. Believe me, this phenomenon goes back a hell of a lot further than 2000, or even 1994.
Yeah, I noticed that after I read your response.
